Scarce- John Marples & Company Sheffield Large Stoneware Jug 19" Tall & Very Heavy Preowned from an Estate. I am offering a RARE - John Marples & Company Large Stoneware Jug. His business Started in the 1870's Wine & Spirits Commercial Hotel. In the 1880's it was called the Market Street Vine Vaults, and Later named the London Mart, but was always referred to as the Marples Pub. They were in business until Sat. Dec. 14th, 1940 when it was Bombed by German Planes in war raid and at least 47 People were killed. It's a great piece in great condition. It has a great History and will look awesome in any home or for a collector. FREE Local Pickup Only by Appointment in Berlin, NJ 08009.
